The White Flower
She's hidden, safe and caged - still endangered but alive
Wrapped in artefacts, far away and motionless..
So I decided to break through all the barriers
Enter like a shade, stay invisible; my love a blade
To see her, to stroke her - to kiss her
with tears in my eyes...

I had a specific scene in my head one day.. a short story - so I decided to do a fast mixed media sketch.. it was spontaneous but turned out pretty cool..This version here is retouched with photoshop.
Soo.. a friend of mine borrowed me his Nikon D5000 so I took some photos of all my acrylic works of this year. I'm still searching for a way to upload a complete gallery somewhere with all categories and projects..

Inferno: Luminium Liquido
I'm not really happy with how it turned out.. my last refinement is lost since Sandro submitted the previous version..
The first Inferno card I worked on yet.

In Insuperabilis
I wanted to show nature as an entity. Supported, held by invisible powers - the many invisible natural laws as "gods" of this plane we live in. Nature as insurmountable; mortal in pieces, immortal as whole.
And on the edge - the grave and womb of all life - stands man, crumbling under nature's return.
The technical part:
My photoshop kinda trolled me all the time and did not want to recognize my pen pressure.
But my will to paint was stronger so I didn't give a fuck and just started out with selections. Later on it worked again and I was happy about the way I worked. Selections are awesome for landscapes.

OP: Dramatic Lighting
OP of Jetjakal's Waste Punk
The left one is the original. I extended the canvas for the composition and made everything more dramatic.
I like the drawing and the shapes are really interesting but the lighting does not emphasize this awesomeness. I really felt the urge to do an overpaint because I wanted to see how my idea looks like when executed.
