This one was some quite interesting process. After restructuring the
initial sketch and combining several studies in one piece (style of
skin-shading, structures, squid), I've decided to use a glitch tool many
times to distort the state into something I had in head. I wanted to
change the composition/narration into a slightly different direction.
Then
I took all the many random outcomes of the glitch I liked and
recomposed them to create focus, flow and the feel of the character
breaking through a surface in some weird distorted way.
In a cyberpunk kind of virtual way.
